INTRODUCTION
This program is intended to train network support professionals to install, configure, customize and support Microsoft Windows XP Professional workstations.
The purpose of this course is to learn how to implement and support Microsoft Windows® XP Professional in a variety of stand-alone and network operating system environments. It provides in-depth, hands-on training for Information Technology (IT) professionals responsible for planning, implementation, management, and support of Windows XP Professional.
The primary goal of this program is to equip students with the skills they will need on the job through a non-traditional, hands-on approach.
As you may know, certification in Computer Networking is a recognized standard of achievement, however it is not a substitute for real hands-on experience and actual know-how. Our philosophy at RTEK 2000 is to
train students first and foremost for hands-on skills
, not to prepare them just for certification tests. We train the desktop and LAN support professionals
who can do the job
and administer the desktop operating systems with minimal supervision. This may be an uncommon approach to training IT specialists, but our performance record shows it is an effective one.
Although preparing students for different certification tests is not a goal of this program, students who successfully finish their training at RTEK 2000 may want to take 70-270 test on their own and pass it. To this end, assistance is available from our instructors, and
we provide the test simulation and preparation software license for every student
. After taking our training program, RTEK students to date have experienced a
high success rate of passing certification exams.
