  INTRODUCTION
This program is intended to train network support professionals to install, configure, customize and support Microsoft Windows 2003 Server and Linux Server and workstations with various desktop operating systems. Proficiency is also developed in the area of working in environments running mixed operating systems and various combinations of PCs running Windows and Linux.

The primary goal of this program is to equip students with the skills they will need on the job through a non-traditional, hands-on approach.
As you may know, certification in Computer Networking is a recognized standard of achievement, however it is not a substitute for real hands-on experience and actual know-how. Our philosophy at RTEK 2000 is to train students first and foremost for a profession, job skills, not to prepare them just for certification tests. We train LAN support professionals who can do the job of administering a network with minimal supervision. This may be an uncommon approach to training LAN specialists, but our performance record shows it is an effective one.

Although preparing students for different certification tests is not a goal of this program, students who successfully finish their training at RTEK 2000 may want to take those tests on their own and pass them. To this end, assistance is available from our instructors, and we provide testing software and test preparation books. After taking our training program, RTEK students to date have experienced a high success rate of passing certification exams.
The unique combination of course modules, and enough of allocated time for studying (more than 320 hours) under the direct supervision of RTEK 2000's highly qualified and experienced instructors is the best blend of a learning environment available today.
