Module Web-103
This crash course is designed for Programmers and Web Developers who had working experience with Visual Basic and want to know how to deploy ActiveX components. This is a
6 sessions workshop of creating ASP and Active X Server components with Visual Basic and other tools such as Windows scripting components. With Windows scripting components the students will learn how to create COM components using scripting language such as VBScript and JavaScript. The created components will be used to makeup a Web application. The student will learn the advantages and disadvantages of each technology.
Prerequisite: Visual Basic programming.
Recommended to take after taking Module 102: Web Components
Labs 1 - 6. Objective: Get the advanced practical skills in creating ASP and Active X server components utilizing various tools. The created components must be utilized in a Web application.
