We are currently seeking a Sr. Network Engineer to partner with the Social Security Administration in Woodlawn, Md.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
* Implementing the security architecture for the UNIX environment.
* Advising on security related issues.
* Responding within established timelines to all inquiries and reports.
* Maintaining all security related applications (i.e. eTrust, ePC, tripwire, etc.)
* Create, administer, and maintain all user accounts in accordance with guidelines.
* Ensure that the DMA servers are in compliance with all regulations when feasible.
* Ensure frequent and open communication with the DMA SysAdmins so that both parties are up to date on the security of the DMA servers.
* Attend regularly scheduled UNIX group meetings as well as audits and reviews.
* Prepare any necessary documents.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Candidate must possess a strong working knowledge and hands on experience with following technologies: UNIX Admin of Solaris 8 and/or 10 systems, ETrust Access Control Administration, Perl Scripting and/ or shell scripting, as well as Windows 2000/2003 server administrations and security experience. The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years and the ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance.
